innovative animation techniques

As the navigation arrow passes different buildings and people in a 3D space, it creates a more immersive experience and provides a smooth journey through the benefits of the Pega Autonomous Enterprise.

Despite appearing as 2D, half of the animation was modeled and animated using 3D software.

This allowed a 3D camera to follow the navigation arrow through a city, creating an immersive experience that smoothly highlighted the benefits of the Pega Autonomous Enterprise.

our creative process

Pega provided the storyboard and parts of the animation direction, and we maintained constant communication and feedback rounds with their creative team to ensure their vision was captured from the storyboard and script.

  1. Storyboard + script received from client

  2. Organisation of their illustration assets to be animation ready

  3. Creating 3D assets from scratch to accommodate the parts of the storyboard that were made for a 3D space narrative.

  4. Incorporating 2D illustrations in both the 3D and 2D environments.

  5. Creating the animation and camera movements.

  6. We also gathered and added in the sound effects.

  7. Rendering in the requested formats for the client.

We collaborated closely with Pega's creative team to ensure their vision was captured. Using 2D animation in a 3D space, we created dynamic and engaging visuals that brought Pega’s vision to life.
